David and his wife Mary Christina (Chris) have six children, Annie (Scott) Hartranft, John (Ashley) Watkins, Mary (Justin) Shafer, Emily Watkins, Amanda (Richard) Montague and Hannah Tilly. David and Chris are natives of Logan County and reside near Rushsylvania, on a farm that has been in the family since at or about the time Logan County was founded. David is the son of John and Maxine Watkins. David and Chris have five grandchildren.
