Chris practices primarily in the areas of general business and corporate law, real estate, probate and trust administration, and estate planning. Many local businesses, individuals, and entrepreneurs look to Chris for legal advice.

 

Chris does not consider any matter too small or too big, representing clients in matters ranging from hundreds of dollars to tens of millions of dollars. Clients appreciate Chris’s ability to get to know them personally, explain matters in an understandable way, and give practical, real life advice; all while having the technical expertise necessary to perform complex legal work.  As one client recently put it:

After graduating first in his class from law school in 1996, Chris began his legal career with a downtown Dayton business law firm, then worked as a tax attorney for Marathon Ashland Petroleum. Chris has been in private practice at his current West Liberty location since 1999, and a partner with TDH Law since 2012. Chris is the long time solicitor for the Village of West Liberty, and a former Bellefontaine City Prosecutor.

 

Prior to law school, Chris was a high school teacher and served in the United States Army Reserve.

 

Chris is a native of Preble County, Ohio, and currently resides in rural West Liberty with his wife, Becky. They have three children, Dusty, Levi, and Lydia.
