David and his wife Mary Christina (Chris) have six children, Annie (Scott) Hartranft, John (Ashley) Watkins, Mary (Justin) Shafer, Emily Watkins (deceased), Amanda (Richard) Montague and Hannah (Brian)Tilly. David and Chris are natives of Logan County and reside near Rushsylvania, on a farm that has been in the family since the 1800’s. David and Chris have nine grandchildren.
David joined TDH Law as a partner in 1991. Prior to joining TDH Law, David was a partner in the national law firm of Arter and Hadden in Columbus, Ohio. David began his law career in 1976 with the law firm of Cuningham, Gibbs & Cavalieri in Columbus, Ohio.
