Walter grew up in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in Washington State. He attended Washington State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2017. Following his undergraduate studies, Walter worked as a truck driver and warehouse laborer at a local electric supply company. After this, he briefly worked in the retail cannabis industry as a stockroom clerk.

In August of 2019, Walter relocated to Ohio to attend law school at The Ohio State University. While pursuing his studies, he grew fond of the Buckeye State and has come to consider central Ohio his home.

After graduating, Walter joined TDH Law in 2022, where he has since played a key role in the firm's litigation team. He advises clients and works on all stages of the litigation and dispute resolution processes. Walter has experience with residential and commercial construction disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, eminent domain, solar lease disputes, and trust and probate litigation.

In addition to his litigation work, Walter advises business clients on matters such as initial entity formation and structuring, contract and agreement reviews, and assistance in business purchases and sales.

When not practicing law, Walter tends to a small herd of dairy goats and alpacas on his farm in Bluffton. He is excited to help spearhead TDH Law’s entry into Hardin County and will be based at the firm’s Kenton office when it opens.
